Daily Report Production Entry Update

Daily Report Production Entry Update

We are excited to share some new updates within CrewTracks. These updates came from feedback from customers like you!

First, we’ve made it easier for you to manage your Daily Reports by introducing collapsible sections. Now, you can customize your view across devices, with different preferences for mobile and desktop. Plus, in the prepare-for-print mode, collapsed sections won’t display their content, ensuring a clean and focused printout.

Example of collapsable button on the Daily Report, and added edit button.

In Production Tracking, we’ve added a new page for editing production values, matching our mobile implementation. This creates improved visibility on locked schedules or job items in non-field editable statuses. The Daily Report and emailed work log reports now feature an enhanced production summary, showcasing Job and Job Item details with a new Job Item description column. We’ve streamlined the interface by moving the “Production Details” section under “Production Summary” and removed the “Add Production” button, replacing it with convenient “Edit” or “View” buttons next to each row.  (This is more of how production entry used to work, and a lot of you gave us feedback that you liked this better).

Your emailed reports will now display efficiency and production completed status icons for a comprehensive overview.

As a bonus, Job Codes on Daily Reports and emailed reports now link directly to that Job’s view page when you click on it. We have added Tooltips to employee time, equipment time, and the material table header on the web Daily Report to show the full name of the job and job item when you hover over them with a mouse, or click/tap on them.

There’s a lot that can be done with production tracking to help drive increased productivity and efficiency.  If you’d like a deep dive into what can be done with this, check out the original post on announcing our Production Tracking Features, there is an exhaustive video showing what can be done. That blog can be found HERE.

As always, if you need additional help or have any questions about this update, please reach out to your account manager or call 801-742-5555.
