Three New Features in August

These features will be coming to CrewTracks in the next few weeks, and we wanted to give you a heads up:

1. New Employees List & Employee Page

The “users” menu option is going away, and we’re calling it “employees” instead. This list is now searchable, sortable, customizable, and 153% more beautiful. We’ve also added a profile page for each employee, including a photo and a list of schedules they have been assigned to. This profile page will give us space for a few other features we have planned. Here’s a two minute overview video of this new feature:

2. Option to Disable Add/Remove Functionality for Jobs, Equipment, Materials

You have always been able to indicate whether you want to be able to add and remove employees from a schedule in our mobile app, but this was not the case for jobs, equipment, or materials. These features always had add/remove functionality, and in some cases, this has caused problems for our customers. So we have added the option to turn off the add/remove functionality for these sections of the app. Just uncheck the boxes indicated below in Organization Settings.

3. Proportional Overtime Export

Our “User Time” export has always allowed you to see a person’s regular and overtime hours, but this information was not combined with time allocation to items within jobs – it was just total hours. Now our “Job Time” export includes the option to break up regular and overtime hours as they pertain to your various items under a job. You can also select whether you want overtime displayed using separate rows or an additional column.
